ROLE PURPOSE :

Represents Syngenta in the allocated area, managing therelationship with the assigned growers. Creates sales opportunities for Syngentaproducts in order to reach the sales targets.

RESPONSILITIES :

  • Creates demand and sales at the grower level through campaign execution
  • Demonstrates portfolio strengths and benefits at field level before and after launch, ensures follow up at grower level
  • Understands grower insights, facilitates and executes Food Value chain activities
  • Collects customer complaints and feedback and facilitates settlement through the technical team
  • Arranges and ensures execution of sampling trials
  • Exploit expertise and crop knowledge to support growers, in order to increase penetration and SoW in the market
  • Achieves volume sales targets with assigned growers, within the assigned area
  • Accountable for sales forecasting / planning for the assigned growers
  • Regularly and formally collects and reports market insights, proposes changes or indicate opportunities to capture
  • Cooperating continuously and efficiently with other departments (marketing, logistics, etc.)
  • Representing Syngenta and its product / service portfolio in a professional and competent manner
  • Follow-up of the clients’ satisfaction subsequently to the sales season’s end
  • To ensure compliance with local legislation and competition laws
  • To defend and promote the image of Syngenta, its offer and services
  • Build solid and professional relationship based on recognized expertise and trust with growers and influencers across the assigned area
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the direct manager
  • Qualifications

    Critical experience and knowledge :

  • Driver license
  • Sales experience
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Understanding of competitive environment
  • Agronomy : general cropping practices, ag technology
  • Technical knowledge of products and / or crop solutions
  • Critical leadership capabilities
