We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Strategic Plan Specialist to join our Honeywell Building Technologies team in Bucharest! This role will beresponsible for development of Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) strategyto drive our strategic vision with focus on Vertical Market growth.

This position will work closelywith both external and internal stakeholders to understand the End Marketlandscape, develop fact-based market assessment and prioritize attractive segmentsfor HON to play.

Outside in thinking with rigorous and structuredanalysis / framework is critical in determining how we win. Armed with this knowledge, this leader will workwith Vertical Offering Management (OM) teams to drive focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work with Strategy and OM leaders to develop deep market knowledge of key verticals
  • Understand the company’s strategic and competitive position and utilize these insights to develop market model, understand customer needs, key trends and competitive landscape
  • Partner with Vertical OMs and strategy leads to identify and execute on growth opportunities, constructively challenging where to play and how to win choices.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities in new markets within vertical and across relevant business units.
  • Identify and evaluate best of breed packaged offering
  • Collaborate with OMs to unlock differentiated edge to cloud solutions that include, products, services and software
  • Assist in developing new business models (recurring revenues), value based pricing and commercial sprint / launch of new offerings
  • Assist OM and sales in revamping vertical solution selling with consultative approach for C-Suite customers
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Strategic Planning
  • 2 to 3 years of top-tier consulting firm experience
  • Transformation experience a plus
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the leadership and functional ability to define and implement growth strategies
  • Commercial understanding of customer requirements and product offerings
  • Financial and international operating experience
