All Automotive companies seem to have realized it and are looking for solutions to contribute to this general trend.

In order to implement state of the art e-mobility solutions the car manufacturers need Power Electronics. This includes a high voltage inverter and a DC / DC converter.

The inverter converts the direct current of the battery into the three-phase alternating current that is required by the electric motor.

During recuperation, the power electronics converts the alternating current generated by the electric motor into direct current, and thus charges the battery.

The DC / DC supplies the 12 Volt boardnet of the hybrid and electric vehicles with power, which makes the 12 Volt alternator redundant.

As a member of our Electrification Technology High Voltage Electronics software development team, you will be involved in building the future of those new innovative products that not only make driving more affordable and environmentally sound, but also work towards our department vision : Zero-Emission Mobility.

In ET Iasi location, Software Engineers are passionate about Automotive and they develop embedded software in interdisciplinary project teams at international level.

They organize themselves in Agile teams and strive to deliver high quality software that will be integrated in innovative products which will end up in tomorrow’s cars.

As a Junior Software Developer in the High Voltage Electronics group, it is expected that after the integration program you will be able to :

  • implement algorithms for controlling the power transfer of the DCDC or the Inverter projects
  • follow a predefined process based on ASPICE standard and follow the defined coding rules and implementation guidelines
  • develop a fair understanding of the hardware and of the systems for which you are developing SW
  • acquire good understanding of the used SW architecture based on the AUTOSAR standard
  • implement safety functions to comply with the ISO26262 Safety standard
  • follow a predefined process based on ASPICE standard
  • acquire problem solving skills
  • A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.


  • University degree in a relevant field (Automatic Control and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics etc.)
  • Knowledge of electronics and microcontrollers
  • Knowledge of embedded applications
  • Programming skills in ANSI C
  • Minimum Professional Proficiency in English
