As our Global Operation Leader you will be driving the SQDCI metrics within 13 Garrett plants through a rigorous MOS, encompassing all continents.
You will also be accountable for the Operation (production) KPI and productivity performance of our plants. You will drive regular MOS with global teams, leverage the championship model for Garrett worldwide and will drive culture change to ensure sustainable productivity throughout our opeations.
Lead operation teams to drive SQDCI KPIs, Productivity and OEE KPIs to AOP target and world class standard
OD development for the Operation function. Develop APU (autonomous production units) model, with target to improve overall plant efficiency and accelerate improvement rate
Drive and Leverage Championship model for Operations to achieve goals
Ensure knowledge sharing, best practices sharing, and horizontal deployment across all operation teams
Support the GEM (Garrett Excellence Model) operation functional deployment, define standards processes for operation management
Drive, with the plants, productivity breakthrough and culture change through transformation Kaizen events, focusing on all opportunities of cost reductions (such as, OEF, OEE performance, scrap cost, COPQ, consumable, fix cost)
You are expected to define with the plants the scope of the TK projects, ensure alignment with key strategic priorities, ensure best in class 6 sigma methodologies are used to drive the best result
Drive OPEX projects to achieve the AOP targets, reporting and escalation process.
In charge of our Plant Layout roadmap through STRAP - Define standard plant layout, with support of AME and other global functions, drive to best roof top capacity and ultimately best conversion cost.
Master degree in relevant field
Black belt or lean expert certified
10-15 years in similar role, or in Operation management or maintenance management role.
Must have leadership experience to lead teams of 15 -30 direct reports in global location, or experience in large plant leadership roles with teams between 200-800 employee
Ability to work in Global and matrix organization
Very good communication skills, able to report at VP level
Ability to lead and convince
Strong leadership skills and project management skills
Proven skill in process improvement , 6 sigma tools usage
