The Tribe Quality Manager role is within the OAM CU organization ( tribe ), responsible with delivering components for Nokia’s cloud-based mobile networks operation & maintenance software solution.
You will be responsible to drive all the Product Quality KPI-s related to our CU tribe and you will support all the softwareteams’ quality improvement initiatives.
Details on this role :
Responsible for quality assurance and control at tribe or product level (when assigned with product quality responsibility)
Responsible for checking process adherence in tribe / product scope and driving quality culture and mindset
Promote best practice sharing across tribe and squads, contributes to best practice pool of knowledge
Own full product quality responsibility to check for release over release and year over year improvements and drive needed improvements (when assigned with product quality responsibility)
Responsible for tribe / product level quality reviews
Act as challenger and quality coach in the tribe
Define and track KPIs and goals in collaboration with BU / DU leaders and BU / DU Quality Lead
Provide tribe / product level quality KPI-s, analyses, deep dives and needed RCA-s
Collaborate with the Change Leader to drive the Continuous Improvement Framework
Be an interface for internal and external audit requests for planning and execution
Participate in the BU / DU Quality Guild and drive relevant cross-tribe quality initiatives as decided in the Quality Guild
Contribute to fault management on tribe / product level
Create fault management networks for tribes contributing to the product
Review the inputs in Pronto tool for customer documentation
Responsible for formal Grading of respective 5Why Analysis and support the RCA / EDA Practice Manager where requested in effective implementation of RCA / EDA practice
Experience in R&D Project Management or Quality Management
Practical experience from SW / HW Quality Management / Quality Methodologies

You will be part of a Development Unit (around 1300+) with 11 R&D Tribes in different countries& continents. Within your Tribe in Timisoara, you will belong to one of the Squads, each composed of 5-9 people.
Since the beginning of the race towards first position in the 5G market, our team has full responsibility for 5G Cloud Control Unit in Timisoara (requirements, architecture and design) and has successfully implemented a cloud-deployed development environment.
