Job Overview

Responsible for supporting the EMEA Regional Business Unit (RBU) in all areas of Finance and Commercial Operations. Designing, developing and implementing streamlined and consistent reporting for all aspects of Finance and Operations across the RBU, to meet both corporate and regional requirements.

Supporting the RBU through change by evolving and automating reports and processes to suit. Contributing to the centralization of activities where relevant to drive efficiencies.

Partnering with end-users of the reports to ensure actions are taken. Contributing to the delivery of the EMEA Operational Excellence program.

Principal Accountabilities :

Owns the preparation of structured daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for the Regional management team. Works independently and by managing a team to maintain existing reports and create new reports that account for changes in business needs and in internal hierarchies

Supports the FP&A Lead in providing detailed regular and ad-hoc reporting to the RBU Service leads, to support strategic decision-making

Supports the Commercial Operations lead in the management of revenue and pipeline across the RBU. Owns the Landing Position cadence, providing materials to countries and the Regional management team to ensure an accurate view of in-quarter revenue and EBITDA.

Exercise internal revenue recognition understanding by owning the Landing Position roadmaps for specific parts of the Regional RWS team, working with Commercial teams to identify ELP and providing this to the relevant Clusters and Countries

Works closely with Cluster and Country Operations and Finance teams to ensure reports are fit for purpose. Works closely with RWCS and Tech Operations Business Partners, providing semi-automated material for business reviews, ad-hoc analyses and guidance / advice on systems and data

Routinely looks for, and delivers on, opportunities to improve, streamline and automate reporting and processes across the EMEA Finance and Operations functions.

Identifying and implementing the most efficient means of delivery, in terms of format, process and resource. Leverages Global reporting tools such as IPM to enhance or replace existing EMEA reports

Supports the Operational Excellence agenda across the RBU by measuring, and driving to improve, key Operational and Project Management metrics (e.

g. Cost of Location, Project Margin, Utilisation, etc.) and by contributing to Operational or reporting aspects of other Operational Excellence intitiatives

Supports the Regional team’s preparation for executive Operating Reviews, and other Management Reviews throughout the year

Quickly understand the Commercial Structure of EMEA, how current processes are set up to reflect structure & financial reporting data structure, to ensure continuity of reporting adjusting for updating commercial reality.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance and experience in financial planning and analysis. Must have proven history of strong MS Excel skills.

Ability to adjust existing VBA code is essential. Intermediate level of VBA is preferred.Typically requires 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience.

Requires advanced knowledge of job area, and broad knowledge of other related job areas, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Additional Requirements :

It is critical that this role quickly builds strong relationships with the Cluster, Country and Regional Finance and Operations teams, to facilitate efficient submission and consolidation of information for any standard or ad-hoc requests.

Must be flexible and an effective team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to prioritise and multi-task.

Works well under pressure. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage remote team members to produce high quality work.

Ability to carry out detailed analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on non-routine matters. Ability to present and explain complex data and analyses in straightforward terms.

Must be able to structure and deliver discrete projects to solve specific organisational needs.
