Responsibilities

  • Decompose high level business needs into functional needs by understanding problem and determining data needs.
  • Leverages clear data to identify business insights and influence change with stakeholders.
  • Synthesize and analyze complex sets of data with high dimensionality from data platforms using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques to support actionable business decisions.
  • Partner with program managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to enable new data integrations to support the L&D processes (based on different data sources such as HR systems, business analytical cubes, and learning management systems).
  • Build and coordinate prototype reviews with key stakeholder (including end-users).
  • Gather feedback and lead improvements for planning; requirements gathering; and data quality and release processes, which enable more efficient delivery of future solutions.
  • Recommend improvements in methodologies or frameworks to achieve consistent, predictable, and repeatable processes and projects.
  • Extract, transform, and aggregate data through logical queries and programming.
  • Continually evaluate the quality and completeness of analytical data and develop validation and audit processes to ensure accuracy of reports.
  • Define and document system and reporting standards and processes to ensure proper implementation.
  • Qualifications

  • Understanding of relational / non-relational databases, data ingestion (ETL or ELT), data modeling and data warehouse schema concepts.
  • Experience managing and govern Master data repositories focused on organizational taxonomies Finance, Technical Skills, HR, etc ).
  • Data governance and data quality experience.
  • Advanced experience processing data from multiple data sources (ex. Using SSIS and / or ADF) and visualizing large data sets in database reporting tools such as Excel, Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
  • SQL, Power Query and DAX experience (MDX is a plus).
  • Knowledge of inferential statistics and the application of statistical testing to data and reports
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders, SMEs, project managers and different types of audience (front-line, engineers, etc.).
  • Good presentation skills explaining complex topics to a novice audience.
  • Attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
  • Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Research Methods, Statistics or similar field or equivalent on job experience.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps).
