About the Role

The Customer Service Representative provides timely and effective administrative support to customers, sales and marketing teams, following established procedures and guidelines.

Our successful candidate will be part of the Customer Service department, where he / she will contribute to developing the department’s performance in Romania.

The position reports to the Customer Service Team Leader SEE, will be based in Bucharest and work on a temporary maternity replacement contract (min. 2 years).

What You Will Do

  • Collect and process customer orders, provide information on product prices and delivery terms, issue invoices and follow-
  • up on status of open invoices

  • Maintain close contact with customer’s personnel to ensure the necessary information flow
  • Keep phone contact with customers / logistics provider / distributors and handle EDI
  • Communicate customer delivery and shipping instructions to warehouses
  • Ensure correct execution of orders from order to invoice
  • Be responsible for promotion follow-up, reporting, and be proactive in avoiding non-mover stocks. Prepare reports on promotions to Sales and Marketing
  • Handle SAP system : register orders, invoicing, mailing invoices, introducing new customers in the system, activate new article numbers, and register prices, up-
  • dating price lists in the system

  • Monitor stock levels and highlight risks / issues, liaise with planning to ensure stock cover targets are being met
  • Keep regular contact with Sales and Marketing colleagues
  • Support the Customer Service department in logistics development projects and in existing processes
  • Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service, preferably in the FMCG / Household / Retail industry
  • University degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Logistics will be considered as an asset
  • High Customer Service focus is a must
  • Good knowledge of English, fluent in Romanian
  • Strong computer and especially Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar operating system would be an advantage
  • Ability to build trust in an open environment by involving others and building effective teams and act as a team player
  • Ability to work under stress and take efficient decisions independently
