Implement Engineering related AOP projects for Popesti Snacks Food business.
Understand the Capital Investment Strategy, MOH and cultural differences whilst ensuring alignment to the Engineering Standards for Process and Packaging Areas, Waste Water Treatment, New Product Development, Electrical, Mechanical and Control Systems, Palletization and Warehousing Systems.
Leverage inter-functional and business expertise to identify and define scope and hence drive sustainable growth within the plant at low capital investment.
Orchestrating delivery of engineering change initiatives within the areas of equipment development and productivity, adopting a solid project management approach within a controlled environment;
keeping contact with internal and external project stakeholders.
Responsible to ensure that the team structure is integrated in site engineering team to support the business capital programme and to ensure the projects execution.
Supporting Associate Project Managers and other key functions in the development of appropriate project briefs / plans / capex plans to ensure alignment with all relevant functions.
Facilitate co-ordination and rollout of PSP and AOP projects with site team.
Drive value engineered solutions by direct contact with Suppliers, and expert knowledge from both within and outside the industry.
Propose changes to the engineering design of process equipment and process cost.
Ensure compliance to asset management procedures for the site.
Direct and indirect line management coaching, development, and performance reviews.
Ensure that all projects executions are in line with all Food Safety Requirements.
Ensure that all projects executions are in line with RECON and EMS targets.
Ensure that all projects executions are in line with all LEAN Requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements
First degree or equivalent in a science or engineering related discipline.
Minimum 3 years previous product / process development and program / project management experience,
Excellent understanding and application of business knowledge across the broader business environment.
Exemplary interpersonal skills with ability to influence at senior levels within the organisation.
First class presentation skills (written & verbal).
Strong analytical skills ability to interpret complex data and distil into useful and actionable information
Ability to explain complex technical issues / solutions to a non-technical audience.
Cultural sensitivity / flexibility in responding to different cultures.
Self-starter, self-motivating - able to deal with uncertainty and complexity
