The ETL Developer Position

We are looking to build our European talent base with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Developers who share our passion for delivering outcome-oriented analytics.

We deliver solutions using a variety of tools, focused on deeply understanding client needs through an agile, human-centered approach.

Our most effective developers thrive in a team based, asynchronous project format. They have a keen eye for detail and think critically about business, process, and data.

They take pride in their work yet are humble and open to feedback from all, with a curiosity and desire to continuously learn, expand, and deepen their skillset.

Candidates are expected to have experience implementing ETL solutions leveraging SQL based technologies, and ideally with modern ETL platforms (such as StreamSets, Alteryx, Mulesoft, Matillion, etc.

and are comfortable working virtually and asynchronously. Development skills leveraging Python and experience with APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities :

Virtually and asynchronously develop analytics solutions, as guided by client facing analytics consulting teams, from data preparation to implementation :

Build and / or maintain data pipelines (ETL or ELT) in support of analytics solutions delivered with Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, etc.

Test, deploy, support

Help identify new opportunities to serve clients

This work may include collaboration with designers, data architects, engineers, team leads, solutions consultants, etc.

Quickly learn and adapt to the needed tools and technologies required to deliver world-class, enterprise data and analytics solutions

As the tools evolve rapidly, guidance / training will be provided

Help your peers improve by capturing and sharing your knowledge

Your Personal Qualifications :

You thrive in the journey from ambiguity to solution adoption

You thrive in virtual, team-based projects

You have a passion for working with data to drive analytics and automation

Have experience with SQL and modern data platforms such as Databricks, StreamSets, etc., Ideally you have experience with Python (or other modern programming language) and in working with APIs to consume data

You can work professionally with diverse team members

You are a fast learner, able to quickly comprehend business, data, and analytical concepts and technologies

You can confidently handle critical feedback

You are able to work in a fast-moving, agile environment

Requirements :

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or economics

Analytical thinking

Experience with ETL process (more than 6 months)

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (level B2 / C1)

Nice to have :

Knowledge of databases SQL / NoSQL

Knowledge of date warehouse

Knowledge of ETL process

Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI etc.)
