Mission
Close cooperation with internal development departments, development and design of JEE applications based on a highly available Red Hat virtual environment
Evaluation of new technologies in JEE applications and automation
Integration, administration and configuration of application server environments
Preparation and monitoring of functional and load tests
Error analysis and troubleshooting in the application server area
Support for the development of automated landfill methods
Project management in the national and international context
Active support for all IT projects, particularly in the preparation and implementation of concepts and technical specifications
Organization and implementation of operations and integration processes, according to the ITIL methodology.
Transfer of advanced technologies to production.
Creation and maintenance of all documents necessary for the proper operation of the data center
Participation in 1st and 2nd-level support.
Profile
Successful study of computer science / business informatics or comparable professional experience
Experience in the operation and organization of medium to large data centers
Specialized expertise in web technologies, especially Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, JBoss EAP and Oracle WebLogic - latest versions
Experience with container and cloud technologies
Error analysis experience in complex operating environments
Experience working in Agile development methodology
Expertise in SOA, Web services and SOAP for troubleshooting purpose
Very good Linux knowledge (Red Hat Enterprise) and in the areas of scripting (Bash, Ansible, Perl, Python), packing (RPM), GitLab
Automation driven using Ansible
ITIL-Foundation Certificate desirable
Very good English language skills both speaking and writing is a must; German nice to have
