Your Role

In this role, you will be part of a team working closely with airlines, terminals and our worldwide network offices to ensure Air operations are executed timely and correctly to the benefit of our customer portfolio.

Operational Care Specialist will be enabling transport activities by liaising with our Customer Care Teams (CCL) + Revenue Care (RCC) teams to ensure all requirements are met (in a timely and efficient manner).

As always, these activities are in line with all relevant governance + regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • To process the import files in our operational system, to liase with CCL team and to arrange the shipments in close collaboration with our partners, suppliers (truckers, customs broker) and gateway colleagues;
  • To enable transport activities by executing bookings, entering orders + generating all required export / import documentation;
  • To liase with all parties to ensure loading / unloading and customs clearance tasks are completed on time;
  • To ensure strong data quality is available for timely + accurate customer reporting;
  • To review + ensure alignment of shipping instructions including clarifying any deviations or conflicts while taking country regulations, export / import compliance, rate + routing information into consideration;
  • To ensure departure + arrival confirmations (or deviations v. scheduled) are shared with CCLs;
  • To ensure cost awareness + efficiency through timely, accurate cost / revenue updates including profit maximization by providing cost awareness to the CCLs + RCC;
  • Your Skills and Experiences

  • Having working experience in Air Logistics of Freight Forwarders will be a plus;
  • Having good knowledge of foreign trade, forwarding, import / export process, customs will be a plus;
  • Support both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and service excellence;
  • Time management / prioritization and follow-up skills;
  • Comfortable in dealing with systems and deadlines;
  • Good at Analytical & Organizing skills;
  • Problem-Solving, accountable for results;
  • Willingness to continuously improve, strive to meet and exceed expectations;
  • Languages : Very good verbal and written knowledge of English required. Any other language is an asset.
