Development :

Collaborate with colleagues to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholder needs

Design back-end and front-end web-based software or customize software for client use

Participate in all stages of software development life cycle

Perform user story implementation, bug tracking & bug fixing of scalable and highly available software components

Perform code reviews (merge reviews) in order to ensure quality and maintain performance of deployed solutions

Support :

Ticket analysis and Log File analysis

Problem identification and workaround definition, if possible

Inform client about changes on the system or explain existing features of the application

Qualifications

3+ years of overall software engineering experience (preferable in a Java environment)

Strong experience working with cross-functional teams

A good understanding of design patterns, application architecture and experience working within a technical delivery team

Experience with REST full API design

Strong experience with Back End technologies such as : Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Rest, Spring Security, Hibernate, Swagger or Apache Kafka

Strong experience with Front End technologies such as : React with Typescript, Angular, Redux

Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases such as : Oracle, NoSQL, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline is an advantage

Fluent in English is a must; knowledge of German is an advantage
