Position Overview :
You will be responsible for working with teams using modern software development techniques and help them to develop and refine apps which meet customers’ needs through the application of agile methodology.
Key Responsibilities :
Working closely with Product Management, User Design, Architecture and Development teams to identify, solidify and document implementable product features and requirements (user stories) in a distributed agile environment
Assisting the User Design team in creating and reviewing high fidelity wireframes
Elaborating requirements (user stories) for development consumption as required
Conducting demos for minimum viable product and providing feedback
Cultivating an environment in which delivery teams become self-organising and team members become self-directive
Positively influencing key stakeholders to co-ordinate the delivery schedules and facilitate communication as appropriate making sure we’re doing the right things at the right time
Improving the skills and efficiencies of people and processes, being able to demonstrate improved performance and output
Identifying potential bottlenecks in the delivery of features and working with the team to avoid / unblock these
Facilitating workshops / discussions to determine the priority of work and the order in which it should be done
Delivering to commercial deadlines using lean & agile technique to maintain quality e.g. Minimum Viable Product, tech debt, burn-up analysis and fast feedback
Driving a continuous improvement philosophy and helping steer team improvements
Facilitating project Kick-offs, User Story writing workshops and showcases / demos
Facilitating problem solving in such situations where work is not progressing across the board e.g. swarming
Research, learn new tools, methodologies and technologies and implement them in the project to continuously improve
Engaging in a continuous everything’ culture : community think & act; learn; suggest and adopt change
Skills and competencies :
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business & IT or other related specializations
Experience in Scrum Master role
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Passionate to continuously learn and adapt
Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams
Ability to plan and organise effectively and take initiative within agreed parameters
Ability to inspire others and influence change across the business
Capable in building self-organising teams
Ability to respond to high-priority situations; and work with all levels of management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English)
Knowledge of one or more agile process e.g. Scrum; Kanban; XP preferred
