Job Summary :
As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for creating test plans / test cases suites / test runs for various projects (mostly web applications) based on functional specifications documentation, design plans and testing environments.
This implies direct collaboration with QA Leads, QA engineers, project managers, developers, designers and clients in various types of meetings held online on different communication platforms.
Your main responsibility will be QA offshore activities which implies classic / manual testing, bug reporting, regression / confirmation testing, communication with project teams in chat / online calls.
You will create specific documentation, reports, make test plan / test suites presentations for PM and clients etc.
Create Jira items based on encountered defects, assign and monitor them
Run tests suites, regression / confirmation testing
Create test plan / test cases suites / test runs
Attend daily QA sync meetings with QA Lead and developers when required
Attend weekly project meetings with PM and team for individual projects
Create documentation, reports that reflect the results of QA activities and tested products
Ability to convert requirements and specifications into test cases and define acceptance criteria / expected result for a software product
Provide estimates for test planning, test case creation and test execution
Identify and recommend areas for quality and efficiency improvements
Create work logs and complete online applications with details of daily activities
Experience as a QA Engineer in a manual testing QA team
2-3 years of experience in related field
Hands-on experience in writing test plans / test cases suites for a given system / scenario
Mandatory advanced English language skills (written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of system testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems
Experience with bug tracking tools and bug reports
Experience in creating QA specific documentation
Understanding of software development life cycle
