The Chain IQ Transition & Transformation team provides enabling services to efficiently integrate Client’s people, processes, and technology landscapes into Chain IQ’s service delivery model.

The team works as part of a regional cross-functional team :

  • engaging with Chain IQ’s clients to successfully manage transition / client on boarding projects and transformation initiatives throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • working with Chain IQ’s global locations and functional teams to continually optimise our internal processes including transitioning activities to our offshore delivery centres to ensure cost, efficiency and effectiveness optimization
  • leading continuous process improvement projects for processes within Bucharest Service Centre (S2C, P2P, Reporting and Internal Controls) working in collaboration where required with India Service Centre to ensure globally aligned optimization

    Introduction into Chain IQ’s Transition and Transformation team :

    The Chain IQ Transition & Transformation team manages, coordinates an dis responsible to efficiently integrate the Client’s people, processes, and systems into Chain IQ’s service delivery model.

    The team works as part of a regional cross-functional team :

  • engaging with Chain IQ’s clients to successfully manage the transition / client on boarding projects and transformation initiatives throughout the relationship lifecycle

  • leading continuous process improvement projects for processes within Bucharest Service Centre working in collaboration where required with India Service Centre to ensure globally aligned optimization
  • About the Project Manager role :

    The Project manager will lead and / or participate to client on boarding projects. This person will be the liaison between :

  • Chain IQ’s internal project team and the Service Delivery Manager
  • Chain IQ’s internal project team and Client ( if the case)
  • This person will report directly to the Transition & transformation Process Excellence Lead.

    This person in this role will require project management knowledge and client service experience. Business process analysis skills are a plus.

    The role will create, implement and monitor client on-boarding projects to efficiently transition the Client’s operations onto Chain IQ’s processes and delivery framework.

    The ideal candidate possesses previous experience in medium to large projects implementation, with strong IT implementation components.

    He / She should posses the capacity to see the general picture and then organize detail oriented elements of the project is a self-starter, flexible, have a high level of integrity and be action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    Task and Responsibilities :

    High-level primary responsibilities are as follows :

  • To manage major CIQ global Client transition projects, possibly involving on-shore and off-shore teams and where relevant third-party providers To propose concrete strategies / approaches for client on boarding projects, to generate project documentation, to coordinate the implementation of the transition and provide support whenever necessary along the project.
  • To propose resource allocation on the project, integrate cross-functional resources and ensure that milestones are met and deliverables meet the quality standards To propose project governance and management, while observing compliance requirements

  • To update project documentation (project charter, project plan, risks logs, duties & Obligations lists, issues logs a.o.)
  • To identify and manage risks
  • To prepare status progress reports on the projects, Steering commitee presentatons and other types of materials as requested
  • To create and manage project plan and timelines to ensure successful completion and handover to operations (business as usual)
  • To collect and analyse information to determine cost, timing, and resource requirements ensuring accurate documentation)
  • Resource management to ensure the correct resources are available in a timely manner with the sufficient skillsets to meet project needs
  • To coordinate change management, communications, and training
  • To develop and manage internal and client relationships and deliver exemplary client service at all times
  • Project communication planning and execution - setting appropriate expectations, communicating status with all stakeholder groups, escalating issues and concerns when warranted.
  • To follow Chain IQ transition methodology, templates, and standards imputing into their continual improvement and refinement
  • To upport new business development and client management as required, including but not limited to client service delivery and sales support as required
  • Reporting to T&T Lead to ensure the project is progressing according to plan
  • Organize the work of the team members / Manage the team's capacity and training / Monitor and report on team’s performance;
  • Requirement to travel internationally : as required based on project. Assumption 10-20% per annum on average

  • Requirements : Technical :

    Technical :

  • University graduate
  • Ideally certified in a structured project management methodology and / or certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green belt or higher) or TQM
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management
  • Previous procurement experience / knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • Solid understanding of source-to-contract and procure-to-pay processes and systems
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results for multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, team player and ability to work under pressure in a flexible manner
  • Competencies :
