Administers and executes internal (back-end) activities for the EMEA region, including incentive programs & sales contests, Culling, non-obsolescence program, warranty policy, and price adjustment execution.
Develop and execute processes to ensure payout accuracy for incentive programs, optimize cost reductions through culling processes (MMCA), and develop queries and reports to demonstrate the success of the programs.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : Incentive Programs :
Performs a wide variety of financial reporting, analysis, audits and evaluations dealer and dealer salesperson incentive programs.
Records accounting transactions to properly reflect financial status.
Reconciles and analyzes financial data and account balances to ensure the integrity of financial information relied upon by management and other financial analysts.
Assists in the developing budgets and cost analysis.
Determines causes of problems within functional area. Chooses appropriate solution and seeks resources to resolve.
Works with IT on break / fix issues and IT program infrastructure.
Analyzes order info when dealer sales people dispute payouts.
Provides reporting evaluating programs success to allow leaders to make informed direction on necessary changes.
Collaborate with global business partners in support of global platforms : program expertise and global perspective
Support development of temporary incentives programs (e.g. contests) Culling :
Provide support for the development of EMEA business strategies for Culling programs. Works with Marketing Services Leader & Product Marketing to ensure business metrics are met;
e.g. volume, margins, performance, financials, etc. Align program with Americas and global platforms as the need arises.
Manages ISO 9000 quality procedures, MMCA, to implement product culling.
Ensures proper communication of culling decisions
Works closely with operations and PDM on implementation process. Warranty / Non-Obsolence :
Administrates and executes non-obsolescence policy for the EMEA region.
Works with Marketing Services, Specialist Sr. on warranty updates
Coordinates processes when changes are needed or customers have specific requests. Price Adjustment Execution :
Support development of EMEA specific annual price adjustment materials including customer / dealer details, Steelcase Sales training and internal messaging. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor degree in accountancy, finance, economics, information technology or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in finance, information technology SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience in Business warehouse
Customer service orientation - work optimally with several different Steelcase groups
Teamwork / collaboration - ability to work with Global teams
Interpersonal skills - make complex topics easy to understand
Planning and organizing
Decision-making - balance analytic and intuitive thinking
