Thales Alenia Space, a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%), is a key European player in space telecommunications, navigation, Earth observation, exploration and orbital infrastructures.

JOB SUMMARY : Core responsibility
Align the US with the business assumptions of the MVP
Formalize the description of the 'features' as User Technical Stories and define the associated test cases
Regularly prioritize the US in order to minimize the waste to test (reality check) the business assumptions and validate or invalidate them
Transmit the Product Vision vision to the MVP Development team :
Align the US with the development capabilities of the core service team
Work closely with the MVP team to help them understand the Vision and the technical needs of the Factory
Product Owner MVP :
Ensure proper description of the technical requirement and adjust if necessary
Plan iterations with the team
Follow the realization and adjust the vision of the Core Service :
Test and validate the technical User Stories developed as and when they occur
Participate in the Daily Meeting with the team
Organize the demonstrations of the results at each end of iteration
Provide a quick feedback loop between Factory, MVP Team and Business line
Adapt the design of the core service according to the feedback obtained
Accompany Business Line to define the vision of the Product :
Define the vision of the service
Prioritize user stories
Define and regularly update the roadmap, aligned with the issues of the foundry and the consumer products of the service
Manage & Align Stakeholders :
Manage the different stakeholders in the product, including Business Line, IS / IT and Factory
Protect the team from interferences
User Story descriptions
User Story acceptance conditions
Use BDD to identify and define the US
Use the KVA to explicit product assumptions, provide focus to the team and learn from experience
Split user stories to aim for 2-3 pts per US
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar
Product engineering skills, experienced in writing requirements : formal specifications, user stories
Familiar with product line engineering practices : production plan, strategic, reuse, core assets, product scope
Knowledge in tools like Git, ClearQuest, Jira
Experience with project management concerns : estimations, planning, resource management
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Capacity to plan and control a planning
Initiative and innovation capacity
Capacity to analyze a problem and solve it
Risk management capacity
Synthesis and reporting capacity
Knowledge of the preparation of the specifications and object-oriented design
Knowledge of AGILE / Lean methods
