  • Responsible and accountable for effective Quality Management Systems
  • Responsible to ensure the IATF 16949 standard systems, learning and resources is deliver compliant to the business and customer.
  • Develop strong, positive relationships with customer and external certificating auditors and the internal functions in quality leaders to enhance overall business and Plant relationships
  • Responsible for or assures functional activities spanning the business through sample auditing : Process adherence and compliance : - Sales and Customer Management New Product Introduction process 1-6 and interacting processes Contracts (Legal), NPI, SAP CAR management, System, Other quality requirements as appropriate
  • Develops strong professional relationships with Customer’s representatives.
  • Coaches and Mentors the business functions in Quality requirements for setting and achieving quality goals, supports programs and activities to meet customer specific / internal requirements and expectations.
  • Develops effective problem solving for processes, as required provide expert problem solving support across the business
  • Develops the Quality Coordinators and Quality system Engineers and the individuals therein to meet customer and internal expectations for the quality function and profession.
  • Supports WW Quality functional requirements and improvement activities.

  • Degree or Equivalent In Engineering Discipline
  • A Minimum Of 10yrs Years in Quality within an Automotive environment
  • Formal training in Quality basics, e.g. Deming, Juran, Crosby, Ishikawa, Shigeo Shingo, and Taguchi
  • Direct Automotive Customer experience, leading projects, discussion, negotiations
  • Automotive experience in high volume manufacturing environment
  • Expert knowledge about applicable industry requirements (IATF16949). FMEA, SPC MSA APQP
  • Expert knowledge business, engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Financial awareness
  • Broad business skills applied to driving strategies and decisions and to developing quality competencies.
  • Certified Quality professional from appropriate independent organization such as ASQ.
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills
