KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Allocated to a specific region, the Resource Administrator will work closely with the regional Consulting Management team to ensure that the utilization of resources is maximized / optimized.
  • Ensures that the schedules of all resources in a region are up to date in the Oracle PRM system, specifically.
  • All the project assignments are up dated.
  • Administration bookings such as vacations, leave, public holidays, sickness, training and internal projects are booked.
  • Resolve any booking conflicts in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all requirements have a match by appropriate resources within given SLA timescales specifically.
  • Liaise with Project and Client Engagement Managers closely to understand demand.
  • Ensure that the project plans are up to date into Oracle PRM system and the resources assigned.
  • Understand all pipeline projects and enter the resource plans once the opportunity is included in the revenue forecast.
  • Work closely with Consultancy Management on any priority issues between projects for escalations with a view to find alternative solutions.
  • Work closely with Global Competency Leads and Consulting Managers to identify and any addition resources.
  • Ensures information to line managers of any utilization issues for his / her team.
  • Works closely with partner stream for allocation of work, which is not deliverable from available pool.
  • Liaise with other regions to borrow and lend suitable resources where is required.
  • Engages freelance consultants once approved including the raising of contracts and purchase orders.
  • Create regular reports such as : Utilization Report, Forecast vs Actuals Report, Bench Report.
  • Monitor resource skills and resume has to ensure up to date details are stored in Oracle HR system.
  • Perform such other reports, duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required.
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Ideally prior experience in a Resource Administrator role with responsibility for updating schedules for Project based Consultants and Project Managers.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Resourcing systems ideally Oracle PRM or PJR is desirable.
  • Excellent data entry and communications skills are required in addition to issue management and escalation handling.
  • A good command of the English language which needs to be spoken clearly.
  • Demonstrated excellent written communication in English.
  • Technical knowledge : Microsoft, Excel (Medium Level) , Word, Power Point.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking / prioritization skills.
