The main purpose of this key role is to ensure proper accounting throughout FLMC EMEA, and be the liaison between the EMEA locations and the FLMC HQ in Europe and US.
The individual will support the Europe HQ in :
Develop and implement process improvements using existing and new Planning tools.
Planning activities (Weekly reporting, POR, President’s Council, Budgeting).
Establishing effective financial controls & procedures.
Act as an advisor in all finance related matters.
There will be an opportunity for ad hoc project work both individually and together with the other Europe HQ team members.
Responsible for monthly consolidation (Excel and HFM) and integrity of Europe financials using Hyperion (HFM).
Develop and improve of the monthly / Quarterly reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the monthly and quarterly standard management reporting package including OSBs (Orders, Sales and Backlog), Destination sales, P&L, TWC, headcount, to senior management.
Review of the monthly financial results to ensure overall data integrity and be in a position to explain significant fluctuations.
Implement new accounting guidelines and procedures across EMEA, including the maintenance of our EMEA Finance SharePoint site.
Support FP&A Manager with the Budget and Profit Review planning.
Various other ad-hoc projects as needed.
University or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
Two to five years of working experience in Finance or Accounting roles
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Multinational organization experience, as well as US GAAP knowledge, is an asset
Hyperion consolidation experience.
Able to work in a fast-changing environment.
Must be a good communicator, team player, comfortable working with upper management, and have demonstrated leadership qualities in prior roles
Fluent in English (advanced level written & spoken).
