KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all GL and month-end activities within SSC scope are performed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with Temenos timetable.
  • Ensure SLA and KPI results are met, as well as the annual objectives established for the teams.
  • Act as Subject Mater Expert on GL processes.
  • First point of contact for technical queries coming from the team and stakeholders.
  • Leading or participating to different projects, as defined by the management, resulting in process improvements and / or improved efficiency.
  • Working together with Functional Managers, other managers from SSC, BPO and Quality team, in order to create and implement relevant KPIs to measure process efficiency & accuracy.
  • Identify and implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining up to date the operating procedures.
  • Ensure effective implementations of controls as per Internal Control Systems requirements.
  • Internal customers management : provide efficient resolution for issues & escalations.
  • Coaching & development of team members, including top talent development and succession planning.
  • Plan recurring team meetings to ensure effective monitoring of operational tasks / deliverables, priorities and projects.
  • Plan individual meetings with team members to ensure individual performance monitoring.
  • Perform other tasks related with SSC deliverables, as may be required.
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, preferably Finance and Accounting.
  • Proven experience in Finance and Accounting - Minimum 5 years of expertise in General accounting, very strong technical & analytic skills.
  • ACCA / Certified Accountant certification is considered an advantage.
  • Proven people management competencies, with prior experience in leading teams (min. 2 years).
  • Fluency in English is a must; another language is considered as an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a complex multinational and multi-cultural organization.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge / prior usage of Oracle applications, is considered an advantage.
  • Team player with good communication, presentation & influencing skills and high ethical standards.
  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Very good analytical and planning skills.
