SUMMARY OF ROLE Manages and directs staff in the planning, development and maintenance of the business information systems infrastructure, including long range planning and budgeting.
Coordinates activities with managers from both administrative and instructional areas.The IT Services Manager Europe will ensure timeliness, quality of support, assist with technical project management and strategy, be an escalation point and look for opportunities to improve the business.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and is accountable at European level for the results of the Oracle IT Support, Master Data Management, IT Project and Advanced Analytics and Robotic Process Automation functions within the Cluj Commercial & Residential Solutions Business Center;
Oversees the day-to-day operational, product / solution, and service delivery functions across all lines of business;
Develops and refines service delivery and fulfillment processes and tools to ensure repeatability and standardization; process management;
alerting, escalation and management of risks;
Performs IT administration and management duties as part of their plans for enhancing IT services;
Monitor, report, and analyze team performance to drive improvement in KPIs and provide accurate reports to company management on KPIs;
Act as the point of escalation for the resolution for highly complex issues and risks that have been escalated;
Works to identify, track and resolve issues and problems that occur during the project lifecycle.
Escalates these issues and problems to various levels of management;
Provides ongoing support and improvement of the IT Support offering;
Identifies areas of concern and able to prioritize work appropriately;
Measures and monitors progress at clearly defined points in a project lifecycle to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations;
Follow and enforce Emerson policies and rules regarding IT management, security, standards and procedures;
Manages relationships and coordinates work between different teams at different locations;
Lead, motivate and coach IT Teams reporting to her / him, set and review objectives, organize regular performance and improvement meetings with staff and management;
Manage and ensure adequate staffing is available on a daily basis;
Facilitate IT Teams meetings and reviews;
