Maintenance Mechanic Foreman
Assiststhe General Foreman by providing input to identify key success factors forMaintenance Mechanics. Provides leadership to cause the creation oforganizational structure and processes required to fully execute therequirements of services and is responsible for the execution of MaintenanceMechanic services, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction cost.
Evaluates Maintenance Mechanic service execution for compliance to contract,design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team ofstatus, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on to go scope.
Maintains the short range look ahead plans and discusses all deviations withthe General Foreman. Reviews and monitors cost and man-
hour budget forinstallation process develops an equipment and tool requirement plan andreviews it with the General Foreman.
Reportsto and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the MaintenanceManager. Performs organizational level and direct support maintenance onUS military tactical and non-
tactical equipment, sub-systems, support equipmentand related end item systems comprised of a wide assortment of wheel vehicles,trailers, engineering, construction and MHE equipment and various trackedvehicles.
Diagnoses system malfunctions, isolate causes, and correctsdeficiencies. Disassembles and reassembles equipment, according to TechnicalManuals (TM), Maintenance Work Orders (MWO), drawings, schematics and customspecifications utilizing lifting devices, hand, power and pneumatic tools.
Providesoversight of the maintenance mechanics conducting Inspections, repairs, andreplacement of components, engines, transmissions, and sub-
assemblies.Trains / mentors mechanics in solving usual and unusual maintenance problemsthrough analysis and troubleshooting.
Identifies parts outlined in repairmanuals and requisitions the required parts. Installs specified new orreconditioned parts and / or makes required adjustments and reassembles completeunit.
Completesrecords in GCSS-A automated system to include work orders, dispatching, partsordering and receiving. Maintains tools and equipment, and performs variousclean-
up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules andprocedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Promotesteamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process. Promotessafety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures andregulations, performs other duties and activities as directed.
Preferredqualifications and skill :
Candidates with knowledge of US military regulationsand OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards
