We are currently looking for the Engineering Manager to join the crew of our growing office in Bucharest. The main responsibility will be to drive development of several products from the SolarWinds’ Network management portfolio from building the high performing team to delivering the high-
quality releases to our customers.
The products from the Network management portfolio allow tens of thousands of IT professionals all around the world to manage their environments and make their life easier.
Drive team towards culture of continuous improvements and innovation.
Plan, identify, hire and develop employees with the appropriate skillset and experience that fits actual team needs.
Develop and foster technical leadership and engineering competencies within the team.
Be direct manager of members of 1 - 2 Scrum teams.
Participate in feature design discussions, high-level analysis, oversee the products’ architecture design and be ready to perform reviews of code written by the engineering team.
Work closely with Product Owners to understand software requirements and drivers of customer satisfaction. Ensure that the product delivers compelling features with excellent usability.
Ensure that quality is one of the top priorities of the engineering team.
Strong technical background in software development and design.
Advanced proficiency in C#, related frameworks, and best practices.
Experience as a leader in a software development team.
Experience with agile methodologies.
Strong communication skills.
English language proficiency.
Nice to have :
Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Cloud environments.
Working experience with relational databases.
Experience with test automation and unit testing.
Experience with international environment.
