SUMMARY OF ROLE

  • Collaborative partnering with all members of the Data Privacy team, as well as partners in the IT-organization (applications and systems) and Data Privacy Coordinators across all platforms and businesses in Europe.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate Data Privacy related processes / requirements for use in OneTrust based on direction of the Data Privacy Specialist of the Law department.
  • Support the Emerson OneTrust users collaborating closely with OneTrust support as needed in European working hours.
  • Document new requirements define scope and objectives and configure OneTrust / integrations as needed - using the agreed RFC processes.
  • Day to day administration of the Emerson Data Privacy instances of OneTrust. (User maintenance, application configuration, reporting Experience with relational database concepts and preferably (but not crucial), knowledge of data privacy concepts.
  • SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Project / Program Management

  • Support the data privacy specialists to define processes / new functionality for consideration for internal configuration changes or OneTrust application changes.
  • Writing requirement definitions, leading RFC process (testing, approval, and instance promotion processes)
  • Develop workflow diagrams, compare with OneTrust capabilities & develop requirements
  • Review current processes / configuration and recommend improvements / writing improved procedures based on interaction with the user base and OneTrust Support Contacts
  • COMMUNICATION / TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Prepare & present user training,
  • Communicate changes to the users ahead of updates being applied
  • DAY-TO-DAY MANAGEMENT OF PROCESSES RUNNING UNDER ONETRUST

  • Manage and supervise data loading into and within OneTrust with the tools in place
  • Support Emerson OneTrust users, handling requests, resolving issues, providing mentorship on accurate use of OneTrust
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance processes, maintain system usage metrics
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge such us VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, usage of data validation, preparing and applying formulas for a specific outcome, preparing reports.
  • SQL experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Work Well Under Pressure
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Proficient in English, other language is an advantage
