Scope of the role :

The role of the trainee is to support with the organization and running of the daily administration related to the operational management of existing 6 silos, investment process in the 5 new silos and operation of entire decision flow through SAP.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to multi-task, work diligently under pressure / tight deadlines related to internal processes in the company, while maintaining a positive presence in the workplace.

This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Responsibilities :

  • Participates in the day-to-day running of silo division process : intake / delivery process, quality issues, technical problems etc.
  • Becomes familiar with the use of our system SAP : introducing into SAP of invoices and contracts negotiated by silo desk
  • Checks the accuracy invoices whether are according to contracts terms and as per legal requirements
  • Follows up of invoice payment with the support and treasury and accounting teams
  • Links between silo desk and accounting related invoices / payment / accounting assignment of good purchased.
  • Supports with preparing statistical reports (in Excel, PowerPoint) for analysis of information on contracts and financial data, upon request
  • Supports with daily silos stocks reporting
  • Prepares end-of-month report : fuel / GPL stock, spare parts, commodities stocks a.s.o.
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information in the system

  • Answer queries from colleagues or external parties in a professional manner, reply or forward them as necessary
  • Management of confidentiality regarding documents
  • Support company business activities, identify and follow development / improvement opportunities for the company in the area
  • Ensure compliance and implementation of COFCO Policies and procedures as per company guidelines;
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Perform any other duties required by manager and situation, related to business needs
  • Requirements :

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (economic or technical area are preferrable)
  • Prior experience in asset administration or in another relevant administrative role involving attention to details, with financial documents / data and contractual documentation and working in teams
  • Consistent, professional approach
  • Knowledge of back-office computer systems is considered as an advantage
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Native in Romania
