As a Cloud Sales Specialist, your customer base will be a subset of existing Vodafone Global enterprise and local corporate Romania customers.

The customer base may already have some cloud products and are looking to grow their cloud estate or customers that have a substantial growth potential.

The role is supported by pre-sales and Technical Solution Consultants

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  • Driving successful sales penetration and growth of key propositions across sector channels to deliver new business sales targets.
  • Provide thought leadership to engage new clients and exceed expectations based on constructing and delivering a winning proposition and customer business cases.

    Work alongside Vodafone Global Account Managers, Account Managers and Partner Managers to evangelize capability / opportunity and then identify approach, construct and conclude winning bids.

  • Have strong C-suite engagement capabilities to influence and advise on strategy and Vodafone’s propositions, with the ability to engage both with technical and non-technical audiences, including those outside of IT and Procurement functions.
  • Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

  • Experience in Cloud and Security sales, marketing.
  • Proven track record in pre-sales and solution development.
  • Extensive and Strong business acumen with a deep strategic perspective and ability to quickly understand business strategy
  • Broad understanding of customer needs; business cases and how customer use our technology
  • Strong oral and written communication - Romanian and English.
  • Proven experience of converting a customer business need to delivered solution, with associated drivers and buying criteria.
  • Understanding and experience of the sales process, including experience in developing, proving and selling the customer business case
  • Relationship management, influencing skills and contract negotiation experience
  • Market, Partner, Competitive and Technical knowledge of the proposition area concerned
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications :

  • Degree / HNC / HND or equivalent qualification ideally relating to marketing, business, economics, or technical discipline preferred but not essential
  • 5 years (or more) work experience in an IT / Cloud / Hosting / SI Sales position and / or Solutions Consultant discipline.
