Location : Schiltigheim or Cluj NapocaThe Finance Integrated Solutions team is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to strengthen their EMEA based team.
Reporting directly to the EMEA Finance Manager and working closely with AMER and APAC teams, you will oversee the maintenance & improvement of our financial systems, daily Business users’ support, and specific projects impacting finance.What you will be doing :
Implement and adapt Steelcase Financial systems, tools and processes, through the best configuration, development and settings in collaborating with Finances Business Users and others local and global Business partners from different departments.
Maintain and Control Key Master Data to ensure reliability and consistency.
Support & Improve current existing tools as well as transitioning to new Global tools.
Facilitate the evolution of company reporting requirements (Internal & External) and lead different reporting projects and improvements.
Lead, Participate, to various Company Projects where there is an impact in finances.
Ensure our different systems, ledgers tie out through appropriate & timely reconciliation; provide support & mentorship to the different Business partners across organization globally.
Strong involvement into the Monthly Closing process.
Position necessities to play an active role in leading and participating on global Finance oriented projects.Qualifications and Who you are :

Post graduate in Finance, Business school or Information Technology
Process improvements : lean mindset required in order to set-up efficient reporting processes, standardize and improve the metrics across functions and locations, able to challenge existing methodologies with tact and identify solutions
Strong analytical skills, ability to research, process and share complex solutions through partnering discussions,
Business acumen : is eager to understand the specifics of the business function that is impacted by / generating the reporting activity in order to produce meaningful reporting and analysis outcomes;
Planning and organizing : self-organized in achieving objectives and deadlines, displays time - management and prioritization skills.
Technical Skills - Proficient in ERP systems (such as different SAP modules), business intelligence (BI) reporting solutions and data visualization (Tableau), advance knowledge of MS Office 365 (complex formulas and VBA scripting) and other software applications and computer tools or development languages (Python coding is a plus)
Technical Knowledge - In-depth knowledge of department system and procedures. Working knowledge of financial systems and procedures.
In-depth knowledge of related corporate policies and procedures and applicable governmental rules and regulations. Proven understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and application for fairness and accuracy of reporting business / financial information.
High level of financial and analytical skills.
Communication and Facilitating Skills - Expresses thoughts clearly and succinctly, both orally and in writing. Makes technical points understandable.
Able to influence the direction of the process and to persuade others in areas of expertise.
Mandatory fluent English (French, German, and / or Spanish is appreciated)
Ability to travel.
