The Systems Development Group (SDG) is seeking a Graduate System Applications Engineer to join our customer facing product reference designs team that supports broad range of industry leading high-performance linear solutions and standard products in end applications such as industrial automation, instrumentation, automotive, healthcare and communication systems.

The Applications Development Engineer is responsible for developing system level applications and documentation for our products.

As part of a cross functional team, the Applications Development Engineer performs definition, development, implementation and documentation of the system level applications, interacts with the development teams to get a deep understanding of how the designs work, proposes ways to improve the designs to match customers’ expectations and provides technical support for our global customers.

Responsibilities include :

  • Create and maintain system level applications comprising hardware, software, and documentation for our products
  • Work in close collaboration with the development and marketing teams to develop new applications
  • Writing and publishing collateral such as Application Notes, Tech Briefs, Technical Articles, etc.
  • Provide customer support through the ADI Engineer Zone forum
  • Technical customer visits, to help them resolve designs issues
  • Essential Skills and Competencies :

  • BS / MS in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS) with relevant experience in the design, implementation, and support of embedded systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of software development languages, including but not limited to C, C+ + , Python, MATLAB
  • Good understanding of embedded processor and hardware architectures
  • Good understanding of analog and digital circuit design and debugging experience
  • Ability to comprehend large and complex technical documentation bases quickly
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.

    S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and / or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
