Global Lead Unified Communications

We are currently in search of a Global Lead Unified Communications to join our IT-Systems department of the Marquardt Group in our location Sibiu (Romania).


  • As our Global Lead for Unified Communication, you are working in the global IT-Infrastructure team within the Marquardt-Group
  • You are in charge of and leading the global team of specialists for Unified Communication services
  • You define the strategic direction for the service areas Telephony, Collaboration, Mobile communication, and translate the business requirements in service solutions
  • You define the service roadmap per service area, all services which are provided by the respective technical solution(s), and the successful and stable integration into the Marquardt system landscape
  • As part of the overall service ownership, you are working closely with internal and external contacts to evaluate and define the technology roadmap, by evaluating vendors and service offerings on the market
  • You consult the global Marquardt IT-leadership team, and the local IT-teams in our subsidiaries on any aspect of your service area
  • You define service processes, implement them with the global and local teams, and you are making sure, that operational requirements are fulfilled
  • With your global and local teams, you are able to manage your services in full scope, including technology, commercially and service offering
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree with main focus on computer science, business informatics or a comparable specialization
  • At least five years of experience in enterprise communication services area
  • Proven knowledge and Experience of either CISCO-CM, MS Skype-for-Business / Teams, or comparable solutions is a must
  • Operational experiences in hybrid communication solutions is beneficial
  • Proven leadership experiences, either in functional teams, in project teams or as a direct leader. Strong communication skills in virtual teams
  • Experience in Project Management (ideally based on PRINCE2), self-organized working style, ability to lead, manage and to contribute within service areas
  • Professional attitude, flexibility, service thinking
  • Conceptual as well as hands-on mentality
  • Ability to motivate and persuade others
  • Respect to diversity
  • Ability to work in international teams
  • Readiness for occasional international business tripsExcellent spoken and written English skills; German is a plus
