ABOUT THE PROJECT

Digital Business Automation is a global function with over 250 colleagues based across 12 countries. We are responsible for defining and implementing the workload automation strategy, and for ensuring our products and services are available, secure, and current in order to meet business demand and protect our customers.

As part of our workload automation strategy we are seeking to maximize our exploitation of Control-M and develop solutions that empower IT and Business teams to optimize their workflow and processes.

In support of these aims we are looking to recruit a Control-M Administrator for the Control-M platform, supporting new functionality and integrations optimising the benefit of the wider platform.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing production support / troubleshooting for Control-M application or infrastructure issues.
  • Working with various application teams to provide consultancy on Control-M offerings.
  • Create and maintain code in-line with Software Engineering best practice.
  • Develop the Control-M infrastructure solution to support user’s requirements.
  • Development of infrastructure code improvements
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Experience of supporting Control-M as either a developer or administrator on Unix / Linux
  • Good knowledge in operating system - Linux
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • OPTIONAL / NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience of testing, evaluating, and deploying new Control-M functionality and / or fix packs released by the vendor
  • Familiarity with Bash, Python or similar code
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working e.g. Scrum, Kanban
  • Experience of integrating, or utilizing, DevOps tools in conjunction with Control-M e.g. GIT, Jenkins, Puppet, etc.
  • Knowledge of CICD pipeline practices and Microservices
  • Experience of system management tools e.g. SCCM, PUPPET, ANSIBLE
  • TECHNOLOGIES WE USE IN THE ROLE
