Wolters Kluwer started a global program with the goal for a WK global CMS solution.
Team & Project
You are a member of a geographically distributed development team working on various digital platforms and tools.
As the UI Developer you will work in a multidisciplinary, international team.
The primary focus of the team is to develop the Content Management System (CMS).
This WK global CMS system consists of several services Semantic Search and Browse, Content Import, Content Delivery, Integration with external parties, XML / HTML editing tools.
You can be part of this innovative, challenging, and interesting project.
You are responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the UI layer for this CMS.
Tasks and responsibilities :
Development and maintenance of web applications based on React and web components (StencilJS)
Development and maintenance of web applications based on Angular (Alfresco ADF).
Developing according to best practices and architecture defined the Architect Community
Take a proactive role during backlog-refinement (grooming) sessions on solutions for the requested requirements.
Analyze and improve the (UI) performance.
Create documentation where appropriate.
Planning and reporting on progress in accordance with Agile / SCRUM
Work together with the backend developers in the same SCRUM team.
Your profile :
Bachelor or master’s degree (preferably in computer science).
Mature experience in working in agile teams using modern web technologies.
Adopt new technologies and concepts quickly and should always be interested in new upcoming tools and languages.
Experience in a mix of :
HTTP, REST, JSON, XML
Nice-to-have experience in :
Test Frameworks / Tools
Other Agile methods : Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, SAFe
Atlassian Stack (BitBucket, Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo)
Strong collaboration and listening skills
Fast Learner and moreover, he / she enjoys learning new techs.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a distributed, international, multicultural environment
Strong analytical skills.
