Mission
Must be able to support the APIs through the entire lifecycle in various dev, test and production environments
Install and release new API products in dev and test environments
Produce document to serve staging and production upgrade and installation procedures
Implement and propose monitoring scripts.
Design, Develop customized coding, software integration, perform analysis, configure, troubleshoot proxy APIs and policies using APIGEE edge
Implement requirements of the API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc. using APIGEE
Analyse and design REST APIs to enable an easier monitoring of services, performance, workflows, resource usage and error troubleshooting.
Profile
Hands on experience in managing and / or developing REST APIs (Apigee experience would be nice to have)
Hands on experience in troubleshooting, debugging different IT issues API, linux and cloud related
Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications, etc.
Experience in maintaining & handling Apigee software components like Edge Router, Message Processor, and developer portal (would be considered a plus)
Knowledge of design and development of SOAP services, OAuth2, SSO, OpenID, JWT, Swagger, WSDL
Knowledge of design, build, document, and use RESTful web service
Knowledge of Public Cloud (AWS mainly, Azure, GCP, Oracle as a nice to have)
Familiar with JavaScript and work experience with bash and / or python.
Familiar with version control tools such as GitLab, GIT and continuous integration (Jenkins)
Understanding of containerization and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
