The Head of Communications oversees a high-performing team of communications and digital experts who work closely with the Campaigns Team.
The Communications Unit ensures that Greenpeace Romania’s campaign messages and narratives demonstrably shift public perception.
Greenpeace Romania is looking for a Bucharest-based Head of Communications.
The Head of Communications is a key leadership role, driving the broader communications strategy for Greenpeace Romania.
This role uses data insights to oversee the integration of communications across Greenpeace, media content creation and the development of communication & digital engagement strategies, to enhance the impact and effectiveness of the campaigns and organisational goals.
This position requires strong specialised skills and experiences in communications-related areas, including knowledge of the media industry, creating and pitching compelling stories, networking with traditional and new media, and utilising tools and best practices to enhance Greenpeace’s ability on news making and building public support.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader with a strong political understanding and an interest in tackling the climate crisis who will also :
have a successful track record in managing media relations, producing strategies and content for communications.
