Petrofac has varied and interesting work across all phases of projects. You will be based in our Woking (UK) office, working in our structures team in our developing advanced analysis group.
We are looking for a stress analyst for our growing team specialising in advanced structural assessment, supporting internal and external clients.
The successful candidate will have a wide range of experience of the application of finite element techniques to engineering problems.
They will be required to work independently on complex and varied analytical tasks and provide guidance to junior engineers.
They will be able to develop existing client relationships and identify new opportunities to support the growth of the business stream.

Skills and Experience required :
A good honours degree or equivalent in engineering or a related discipline
Extensive experience of advanced finite element analysis, preferably using Abaqus
Non-linear, collapse and dynamic analysis
Fatigue and fracture mechanics experience desirable
Excellent technical report writing and presentational skills
Flexible and responsive approach to achieve clients’ and Petrofac requirements
