General Purpose :
Responsible leader for delivery planning and management of customer contracts. Provides leadership and guidance to all involved teams.
Manages the project at the strategic level, including the understanding of customer's contractual requirements and Nokia strategy, having the ability to translate them into a solution and services delivery approach.
Key responsibilities :
Candidate will be responsible for NSW CS&C GSID Technical Project Manager Execution and Delivery Management and bring thought leadership in customer engagement.
Candidate will also be responsible for competency development advise across GSID sub stream team and project financial and performance KPI tracking and adherence.
Analyzes the Project Contract, confirm scope, contractual issues and validate risk assumptions
Develops customer relationship, understands customer environment, determines customer interfaces and identifies responsibilities
Builds a plan for the scope and work packages agreed with the customer in line with their expectations and with guidelines of the contract and NOKIA delivery strategy
Establishes the project’s structure including the project management organization
Organizes the set-up of the project team and assigns project roles & responsibilities to individuals
Establishes & Implements the Project Management Plan (PMP)
Manages resources and oversees finances to ensure that the project progresses on time and on budget
Manage the project’s risks including contingency plans and risk mitigation
Supervises and validates the subcontractor selection for the realization of the project, if applicable
Defines and controls the project’s key indicators (schedule, cost control, quality)
Implements the set-up the project reporting and is the lead in review meetings
Participate in process improvement activities to ensure a more robust delivery approach across projects and teams
Education & Skills :
Understanding Project Management Methodology and Tools
Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or related fields.
Candidates should possess most of the following qualifications and competencies :
Basic understanding of GSM / UMTS / LTE Networks and Call flows (HLR, HSS, EIR & MNP nodes, protocols and interfaces is useful)
Basic Knowledge of IP and Signaling (SS7 / Diameter)
Basic understanding in Cloud (openstack / vmware) platform
Some exposure in testing area
In addition, candidates must have fluency in the English language (written and verbal).
