The Area : The Information Security, Resilience, and Privacy departments are responsible for setting enterprise security and privacy policies, standards, and controls that are designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Morningstar information.
The security, resilience, and privacy teams offer guidance and technical expertise in areas like application security, privacy, policies and procedures, disaster recovery and compliance / regulation.
The teams also operate centralized monitoring, analyzes emerging security threats, and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments in collaboration with various business functions to ensure that our information remains secure.
The Role : The Information Security Team is looking for a Senior Manager for the newly founded global Center of Excellence which will consist of analysts that work across Morningstar’s Information Security, Enterprise Resilience, and Privacy functions.
With the center being newly created, the successful candidate will be empowered to build, shape, and manage the team, with technical guidance provided by our subject matter experts in the different focus areas.
The goal of the Center of Excellence is to support the entire global Morningstar business, break down silos within the Security, Resilience, and Privacy functions, and improve the customer service for internal stakeholders.
As such, the Senior Manager and team will be creating, documenting, and maintaining processes with associated SLAs and be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for service improvements.
The Senior Manager will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and will closely work with business stakeholders and the remainder of the Information Security, Resilience, and Privacy teams.
