Responsibilities

  • Reviews requests for assigned materials, parts and / or services and verifies specifications with stakeholders as necessary
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on price estimates for budgeting purposes
  • Conduct searches for new suppliers of goods and services, evaluate their capabilities, assess risk and qualify as necessary
  • Perform IT suppliers’ assessment & selection, establish the relationships & manage regular business review meetings with the suppliers based on strategic business impact
  • Lead and execute RFx for IT software, hardware and / or services negotiation, bidding process, price negotiations
  • Identifies cost savings opportunities and assists in achieving yearly cost reduction targets set by Procurement Manager
  • Conduct research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality
  • Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them
  • Setup and manage vendor governance meeting with the scope of identifying optimization solutions for the on-going / new projects
  • Lead the negotiation of framework agreements / agreements with IT providers
  • Develop long-term development strategies for product categories
  • Guide & lead the IT category management allocated (benchmark & IT spend assessment, optimization and saving opportunities)
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree within Finance / Economics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or alternate
  • 5-8 years’ Sourcing experience in IT domain
  • IT Procurement Certifications (CIPS) or similar are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating complex Software agreements
  • Negotiation skills practical experience of IT supplier management
  • Strong experience of performing Strategic Sourcing roles from spend analysis to category strategy creation and category management / vendor management
  • Excellent understanding and experience of effective supplier governance i.e. enabling timely decision making within an organization
  • Strong knowledge of the concept of contract management, laws related to contracts / agreements and applicable legal obligations and arbitration process
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management qualities
  • Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written)
