SAP ERP (nice to have)

Job Description :

The person hired for this position will be responsible for support and maintenance and development of SAP BW4 / HANA systems for the local or foreign customer.

Main tasks :

  • analyzing, processing, documenting and solving of Incidents, Service Requests, Problems (reactive Problem Management) and Change Requests according to System Service Catalog and upon customer’s request
  • creation of BEx queries upon customer expectation (also complex queries with variables)
  • BW dataflow modeling
  • analysis of system error messages
  • monitoring of the system ETL processes and of process chains
  • Ticket-Tracking and -Controlling from the adoption of a request up to its final resolution status
  • Required Skills :

  • general knowledge of either SAP BW (classic BW version 3.5 or 7.x) and / or SAP BW 7.5 on Hana (one or the other is required)
  • knowledge of SAP HANA modelling (e.g. in SAP HANA Studio) is an advantage
  • BEx Query Analyzer and / or Analysis for Office (general knowledge of one or the other is required)
  • BEx Query Designer (general knowledge required)
  • creating of SAP BW queries (with usage of variables)
  • experience in BW dataflow modeling (general knowledge required)
  • ability to work in the international team ->
  • fluent knowledge of English is essential and required

  • open minded person with proactive attitude & ability of analytical thinking with strong willingness to learn and develop new skills

  • ABAP general knowledge
  • SQL general knowledge
  • SAP ERP system general knowledge
  • knowledge of SCRUM agile methodology
  • SAP Business Objects and SAP Data Services knowledge
