, you drive our customers' Cloud Adoption Journey into Database, Exadata and Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud Services and Autonomous Transaction Processing and ensure they get the most out of their investment. This role is 100% cloud focused and blends technical hands-on skills with business and commercial skills. Main Responsibilities Run technical hands-on cloud workshops (i.e. how to upgrade from on-premise to the cloud, how to provision an autonomous transaction processing service, how to build High Availability in the cloud) Run use case cloud workshops (i.e. Database Consolidation) Help build Database Sanbdoxes in the cloud Configure and set-up the cloud environment (i.e. help the customer design an ERP solution running on Oracle Database Cloud Service and IaaS and set up the cloud environment) Develop adoption campaigns to increase the adoption of the cloud services (like Start with an Autonomous Data Warehouse Sandbox environment in the cloud) Research & guide our customers’ technical adoption journey (how to’s) Share best practices & lessons learnt Constant training and development focused on latest cloud services and latest features This is an EMEA Role: travel is expected Skills Hands-on skills on Oracle Database, Exadata Experience in a customer-facing, role such as Pre-Sales Consultant, Consultant, Solution Engineer Excellent presentation and communication skills in English Enthusiasm, energy and ability to evangelize and expand the footprint of seeded markets in the public cloud platform Good listener, product and client centric attitude, strong in relationship building, good communicator, and coordinator, leadership skills across various business units Willingness to travel to customer locations (approx. 40%)
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Drive maximum adoption of Oracle solution and identify/drive product expansion opportunities via high value relationship with the client.
Develop long term partnership with our clients to ensure they remain successful by realizing the full value of their investment with us to ensure client continues/replenish/renews contract with Oracle. Responsible for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction by being a liaison between our clients and Oracle's internal operations. Identify product expansion/up sell opportunities. Work with larger clients. Provide input into the CSM methodology and direction. Act as mentor to newer CSMs on a voluntary basis.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Recommended 7 to 10 years of professional experience. Demonstrated experience in implementation or client facing relationship experience. Understanding of various technical architectures and operating systems. Industry experience is desired.
