Microchip is seeking an analog / mixed-signal IC designer to join our team. As part of this role, you will be working on developing analog / mixed signal integrated circuits.
Focus areas will include power management integrated circuits, DCDC buck, boost or buck-boost solutions, charge pumps or LDO’s, however exposure to other design areas such as references is likely.
The ideal candidate will :
10+ years of experience in analog mixed signal circuit design with experience in taking projects from architecture to mass production.
Experience with low (lv) and high (hv) voltage Power Management Integrated Circuits.
Knowledge in different lv / hv semiconductor technologies like standard lv bulk, hv BCD, BCD-on-SOI.
Awareness and knowledge of proper system concepts and measures to be applied to target First-Time-Right (FTR) system functionality.
Knowledge and expertise how to ensure a robust hand-shaking process between analog and digital domains in timing critical AMS systems.
Knowledge about analog behavior modelling using System Verilog / Verilog AMS / VHDL.
Knowledge to use advanced Analog Mixed Signal System verification tools like Virtuoso AMS - Cadence / Expedition AMS - Mentor /
Knowledge and experience how to implement and verify robust mixed signal Design-For-Test (DFT) solutions.
Participate silicon validation and debug phases to verify block, chip and system functionality and performance vs. design implementation targets.
Work experience in multi-sites and cross functional team environments.
Strong analytical skills, teamwork contributor and excellent communication skills
Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering.
