Job purpose :

  • This role provides a supporting customer interface via inside sales responsible for the development of new business for Honeywell Install Base
  • The role disseminates key messages, initiatives, and information on the value Honeywell brings to assigned customers, opportunities, and solutions.
  • The objective of the holder of this position is to provide additional customer coverage (supplementing field sales) and act as customer focal point for campaign generated sales leads;
  • Drive a sales team to achieve maximum profitable growth in line with Honeywell’s vision and strategic objectives.
  • Establish and own the territorial plans and sales strategies aimed at serving and expanding the customer base.
  • Main activities :

    Hire, develop and retain top talent

    Perform performance appraisals and development planning for Inside Sales team in Bucharest

    Managing the development plan of the team, coach and monitor staff, retain top talents and review productivity level of the teams

    Setting and achieving department goals and results and ensuring adherence to organizational procedures, policies, and systems

    Providing direct and timely feedback to all staff on the results

    Responsible for managing, measuring and reporting on team's performance against targets while meeting goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

    Set up the Business Plan and Strategy for the Inside Sales Team

    Design and execution of inside sales workflow to ensure excellent service is delivered through appropriate staff planning and scheduling

    Focal point of ownership and contact for Inside Sales with the rest of the organization, address issues and escalate as needed

    Leading Proposal Process - Organizing and leading internal RFQ / proposal review and pricing / bid strategy meetings for all inside sales led campaigns

    Forecast Discipline - Helping to forecasting sales revenues. Complete win / loss reports for projects in a timely fashion

    Tracking and reporting on the sales opportunity pipeline in Sales Force

    Qualifications :

    Proven people management background (ideally within a B2B sales environment)

    Technical Sales background or Technical telephone support background

    Some exposure to customers requiring services for technology / automation install base is a plus

    Working in an international organization across multiple cultures, time zones

    Educated to a minimum of University Degree level or equivalent (preferred in Electrical, industrial, automation engineer or computer science)

  • Good knowledge of products and solutions within the industrial automation market
  • Exceptional knowledge of internal sales process and systems
