You will join the Design team, key to the success and growth of the Platform-as-a-Service department. The Design team is based in our Copenhagen HQ but has colleagues around the world.

The Design team works closely with SimCorp’s Operations teams to develop, operate, and support SimCorp’s Platform-as-a-Service clients.

The Operation teams are major stakeholders for our documentation and have grown from 20 people to almost 100 over the last 7 years.

You will own the documentation for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

You will join the wider technical writing community at SimCorp, consisting of 16 technical writers across all departments.

Your responsibilities :

Design, create and maintain structured documentation procedures and lifecycles

Collaborate with a wide range of teams and skill sets such as architects, operational and technical consultants to create structured, high-quality content

Support to define and improve our user documentation strategy and procedures with the rest of the Design team

Ensure our clients can understand and use the documentation

Create how-to tutorials for internal use to support colleagues

Be part of SimCorp’s technical writing community

Your qualifications :

Significant experience in a similar role

Preferably an IT background

Comfortable using enterprise documentation management tools

Experience with MadCap Flare and topic-based authoring

Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and PDF documents

Fluent English

Experience with diagramming tools, like Visio or Mermaid diagrams in Azure DevOps

High-level knowledge of Microsoft Flows and Microsoft SharePoint
