Dual responsibility of Leading a team of finance professional as Manager and managing one or more Large Accounts end-to-end in Individual contributor (IC) capacity for DSS Americas Finance function
This is a new position in Europe for supporting Americas Finance and hence it is imperative that you play an active role in building a team there working closely with the finance Lead
Primary functional requirements would be to support business stakeholders (CP / AGM / AE / DL) and finance leaders across core activities around Budgeting, Forecasting, Month End Close, Reporting and Compliance
Key Responsibilities :
Forecast Ensure forecast accuracy at an account level and provide decision making information to business including risk and opportunitiesDrive forecast process which is a detailed roll-up of key elements giving business insights around Backlog, Outliers, New deals etc.
Provide deep financial and business analysis (narratives, variances)Consolidation of data and reporting pack preparation
Month End Close and Reporting Ensure timely and accurate completion of month end close activities in line with reporting calendar.
Prepare and communicate daily estimates during close cycleWork on month end close pack and explain deviation to forecastProvide financial reports that accurately reflect financial performance of the accountBusiness review pack preparationRegular review of P&L (Revenue, Cost) and Balance Sheet ensuring accurate reflection of performance
Annual Budget Lead planning cycles (Strategic and Operating plans) with high level of accuracy and thorough understanding of the business dynamics in collaboration with the business at the account levelWork closely with Functional and Business stakeholders
Accounting and other Functional activities Ensure compliance with USGAAP and other applicable DXC policiesReview Contracts / Master Service Agreement (MSA / SOW) in terms of key Financial and Pricing clauses such as COLA, Price variations, Volume commitments, Termination, SLA clauses etc.
and work with stakeholders on mitigating exposureProvide required visibility to the stakeholders of various cost and revenue elementsMonitoring Unbilled and Deferred positions of the Account and work towards improved ageing and timely liquidation.
Support Business and Finance stakeholders in driving improvement initiatives
Control & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Revenue Recognition principles, adherence to SOX controls and other DXC accounting and compliance requirements
Support and provide information as necessary to other functions such as Controllership and SOX compliance teams
Participate and support successful closure of Internal and External Audits
Team management and other Requirements
Ability to coach, guide, mentor, train and lead a team of finance professional
Find best talent and working towards functional enablement of the team
Build and maintain productive, beneficial relationships with various stakeholders
Dive results by engaging with different functions like Controllership, Sell & Offering Finance, Region and Corporate FP&A, Internal & External Auditors, SOX teams etc.
Participate in training programs across DSS teams
Conceptualize and execute finance driven value add, improvement initiatives
