Gameloft Bucharest was created in 2000 with a passion for games that spawned 42 titles for all platforms, from Java to consoles.

Our games are recognized and praised by our players and by the industry. We take pride in our titles, from N.O.V.A, introduced on stage during the 2010 Apple Keynote as the first iPad game ever, to FPS benchmarks such as Modern Combat, with over 175 million downloads & Sniper Fury, with over 109 million downloads.

Job Description

We are looking for that special person who is bored by the limitations of the conventional art. Someone who is passionate about the almost purely commercial art.

What will you do here?

Creates illustrations, character concepts, environments and backgrounds in collaboration with the game designer and art director;

Conceives the game interface and menus;

Makes sure that all the graphic assets have a unitary graphical aspect, in accordance with the game’s determined style;

Qualifications

What are the qualifications you need for this position?

Motivated and passionate about video games;

Flexible with art style and can work in an already defined genre;

Independent and versatile (designing characters and environments);

Degree from an Art College is necessary;

Strong knowledge of color theory, with the possibility to create well-balanced color palettes, an ease of transposing ideas into already decided colors;

Outstanding drawing and composition skills;

Proficient technical skills and expertise in Photoshop;

Thorough and organized, able to work with ambitious goals and to see a project through to its end within given deadlines;

Knowledge of classical fine art techniques is a plus;

Skills in 2D animation is a plus;

3D modeling, sculpting and texturing experience in both low and high poly, is a plus;
