Responsible for ensuring successful performance, both day-to-day supply and ensuring robust end-to-end process for the products supplied under Named Patient Program.

In addition to NPP ownership, the deputy TL provides single point of contact for set of markets on operational topics across the products (AMP-

to-Market S&OPs, projects, market level KPI’s). Drives improvement initiatives related to supply & inventory management to support achievement of Commercial and Global Supply Chain (GSC) goals for the region and markets assigned.

  • Owner of the Named Patient Program
  • Support Pfizer critical process to provide early access for new products not yet approved by EMA
  • Aggregate market view across Supply Planners to serve as point of contact for GSC Market Leaders for assigned set of markets (organize monthly S&OP process)
  • Lead improvement initiatives for assigned set of markets
  • Provide support to AMP Hub Team Lead in improvement projects
  • Work with different stakeholders (AMP Hub Team Lead, markets, plants, supply planners, enabling team, network supply) to continually drive improvements in supply chain processes, establish / meet performance objectives and operational changes
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 5+ years of relevant experience required in Supply and logistics management, ideally in pharmaceutical industry or healthcare industry
  • Language requirement

  • English required
  • Technical skills :

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends and regulatory processes
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flows
  • Understanding of Sales / Commercial / Marketing functional areas
  • Continuous improvement : Leadership of cost, operations and business improvement projects for Logistics & Supply processes
  • ERP / System implementations
  • Implementation of New business / distribution models
  • Local Logistics market knowledge (LSPs, transport)
  • Exposure to business finance
  • Key capabilities :

  • Ability to think longer-term and provide strategic direction
  • Proven experience in managing, coaching and developing teams
  • Ability to influence decisions across different levels of the organization including senior leadership
  • Ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization, instilling trust and collaboration
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex situations involving many moving parts
  • Expertise in use and leveraging of ERP systems and reporting tools (E.g. SAP APO, Business Intelligence tools, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Powerpoint)
  • Strong analytical skills are required - ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determining root cause of issues and drawing proper conclusions from analysis
  • Ability to make good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment
  • Ability to manage, track and drive resolution of complex issues as well as improvement initiatives in parallel
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Ability to trade-off priorities within portfolio
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to present complex issues, providing adequate level of information required at different levels and for different stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and within a multi cultural environment, balancing needs of different stakeholders including senior leadership
