The opportunity We are looking for a technical writer to help us deliver an awesome help experience that lets customers discover, evaluate, and master our software.
You’ll work in the Bucharest office and collaborate with our other technical writers, Engineering and Support teams around the world.
The input you give will shape our strategies for future Ivanti solutions. What you’ll do
Design and author help systems, user guides, and videos about Ivanti software, using tools including Madcap Flare and Camtasia.
Interview subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy and clarity.
Use the Ivanti software to understand the updates and changes before documenting them.
Work with the product team to make the software easier to use and more intuitive.
Coordinate with Support, Sales, and Training to provide a timely user experience that meets user needs.
Validate and standardize existing content and find ways to improve it.
Collaborate with a stellar localization team to produce content for worldwide audiences.

At least three years of directly related experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with a command of English grammar and punctuation.
Familiarity with Madcap Flare or other XML editors.
Proficiency with computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and to prioritize and execute work on a schedule.

Good design sense and / or experience with CSS.
Experience with SEO or using analytics to guide decisions.
Experience with Camtasia or video creation.
Experience with facilitating localization and working with localized content.
