Requirements

We’re looking for an algorithmic thinking person who is passionate about technology, interested in the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios.

We’re looking for a person who is methodical and pays very close attention to details, but who also has the initiative to challenge and improve existing routines and processes. All of the above with respect to the standards of quality, speed and stability Bitdefender proudly promotes.

Ideally, you should:

• have a strong logical and algorithmic thinking
• have 2+ years of as a QA engineer in Web projects
• have good critical thinking and capacity for analysis – testing starts from the first requirements document up
• have a very good attention to details and be meticulous
• be able to approach the testing process in an organized and disciplined manner
• have experience with Agile development environments
• have the ability to work independently

It would be a plus:

• if you had a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• if you have scripting experience in any scripting language
• if you have ISTQB foundation level

Responsibilities

You will:

• study requirement specifications and raise clarifications.
•  design, maintain and update test cases based on the requirement specification.
•  build, maintain and update automated tests based on test cases.
•  execute and report results of automated and manual tests.
•  submit, regress and verify defects.
•  perform tests against builds and test procedures.
