Internal Communications Specialist

Oracle's EMEA Alliances andChannels (A&C) organization is responsible for the ongoing development andexecution of our A&C programs and strategies to generate a partner revenuestream. A&C also leverages the Oracle PartnerNetwork Program and the modelsfor managing all of Oracle's over 10,000 partners in EMEA.

The Partner Marketing teamwithin EMEA A&C deploys programs according to the partner types (SystemIntegrators, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS Solutions Partners, VAD managed partners) andcovering Cloud & On-Premise applications (SaaS) and infrastructure(PaaS/IaaS/Systems) solutions. The team organizes engagement activities torecruit and activate (or re-activate) partners and partner communities to dobusiness with Oracle sales and solutions teams. The team also supports A&Csales teams in business and partner sales, sharing best practices, amplifyingpartner activities to customers, promoting partners skills and referencesinside Oracle and to the targeted markets.

Within the Partner Marketingorganization, the new EMEA PartnerExperience Team focuses on digital Content and Communications to support amodern partner experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely aligned with Senior Management and stakeholders to draft messages for internal employee communications and make recommendations when needed
  • Plan, collect, review and write content for various internal platforms (e-mail, internal newsletter, intranet, internal blog etc)
  • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent across various platforms within the organization
  • Apply organization’s approved templates; design and perform necessary design edits
  • Ensure consistency with Oracle branding and the EMEA A&C communications strategy
  • Ensure internal messages are communicated in a clear, timely and effective manner
  • Collaborate with team members to leverage communications and messaging on various internal platforms
  • Promote best practices and internal communications tools
  • Make sure internal messages reach the correct target audience 
  • Know and apply company’s tone of voice
  • Support and enable (e.g. trainings) teams with Oracle’s internal comms platform (incl. design/settings)
  • Manage content/articles on the team’s internal blog
  • Support production of quarterly internal webcasts or/and video
  • Help promote and leverage Slack
  • Help maintain the organization’s event internal calendar
  • Support the collection, building and sharing of Partner Success Stories internally
  • Requirements

  • Excellent English skills (ideally native speaker but not mandatory)
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understands multiple forms of communication technologies and platforms
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Basic design understanding and knowledge
  • “Digital minded”
  • Mature interaction with senior management, sensitivity when drafting messages to tailor communications to various people/ stakeholders
  • Creative skills with email templates, images, videos etc
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong network with various requesters, projects contributors and teams

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in foreign languages (English)/ Communications/ Business etc.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an IT/ technology domain
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

    Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

    Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5+ years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
